Crystallized Crystal Head Vodka Bottle

Hi Guys
Here's a little non cricut/svg related project I have been working on recently - its a crystal covered Crystal Head Vodka bottle.  This one is a miniature bottle (50ml size).

Click the link below for more info on Crystal Head Vodka

This was my first attempt at crystallizing anything and i'm really pleased with the way its turned out :-)  The pictures below show the original glass bottle next to my crystallized version.

I used Swarovski 2028 non-hot fix crystals in size SS10 and SS6 and Strass 244 glue.  I bought a factory pack of the SS10 crystals, there are 1440 crystals in a factory pack, but I still had a few left at the end.  The crystals and glue are from a company called Scatter Crystals here in the UK, here is a link to their website:

My first published card! - Cricut Magazine Holidays Idea Book

Here is my first published card - I am so happy LOL!

I submitted this shaped wreath Merry Christmas card to Northridge Publishing in May 2011 and they accepted it for inclusion in the Cricut Magazine Holiday Ideas book 2011, which was released on the 1st December 2011.  It is a shaped card made using the 'Joys of the Season' cartridge, shown below for size comparison.

My card is featured on pages 46 and 47 of the Cricut Holidays Book 2011

Christmas Tree Shaped Cards

Hi Guys
I'm sorry I haven't posted for ages, I am in the middle of decorating my house and I'm also getting married in 3 weeks so things are a little crazy at the moment, plus Christmas is on its way!

I have been working on my Christmas cards for my friends and family and decided to make little Christmas Trees for everyone.  Here are some pictures of some of them:

They are bling-tastic!! covered in glitter card and various sized gems.  I'm really happy with the way they turned out.  They are a little heavy but thankfully I am handing them out rather than posting them!

Hello Kitty Halloween Card (Helloween?)

How cute is this?
I found the witch on a broom  image of Hello Kitty as a colouring page online.  I then imported it into SCAL and with a few small tweaks it cut out perfectly.

I added a semi circle to the bottom of the image to make a flat edge, so the card doesn't fall over.  I think it works quite well.  I'm going to give this to one of my friends children for Halloween or should that be Hello-ween?
